JRSO Training 2020
We are very excited to announce that we have 2 new full trained JRSOs- Esmee and Florence! The training was a little different this year, no posh hotel, but virtually via Microsoft Teams. It was still great to receive the training and for us to meet up with other schools. Watch this space for their first initiative!

Walk to school week
the 5th to the 9th of October 2020 is walk to school week. Our JRSOs will be sending home a safety page so that you can all be safe when walking to school.
On Friday 9th October 2020 we will be celebrating Be safe Be seen. With the darker nights this is essential. All children can come dressed in their brightest clothes and Sophie and Summer our JRSOs will judge the best in each class, who will win a prize.
Meet your new JRSOs- Junior Road Safety Officers, Sophie and Summer in Year 5. They completed their training on the 11th October 2019 with Mrs Hawkings and have lots of ideas on how to keep you all safe in and out of school regarding road safety. Watch this space as they launch new initiatives in school and of course if you have any of your own ideas they are more than happy to hear them!
