Being a Church of England Primary School
At Vernham Dean, we are extremely proud to be a Church of England School, which not only has its school community but is part of a wider community of the Pastrow Benefice as well as the even greater family of schools in the Winchester Diocese.
We live and work by our key Christian Values - the 3 Cs of Compassion, Courage and Creativity. These Values embody our school's ethos.
The children in our school live out these Values every day through real, purposeful experiences which will enable them to become successful citizens for the future.

Year 6 Leavers Service
On Friday 17th June our 11 Year 6s attended the Diocese Leavers Service in Winchester Cathedral. We had a wonderful morning exploring the Crypt and then had lunch outside.
Mrs Hawkings joined us in the afternoon for the Leavers Service and we were honoured to present out Ten:Ten # Flourishing project to all the other schools in the Service. We used our Christian Value of Courage to present confidently to so many people!
We had a fantastic day, received our new Worship candle and the children were an absolute credit to the school and their parents.
