Applying for a reception place (Year R)

If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, they will be eligible to start school in the school year beginning September 2024

Key dates for main round admissions for September 2024

• Applications open - 1 November 2023
• Deadline for applications - 15 January 2024
• Notification date for on-time applicants - 16 April 2024
• Waiting list established - 30 April 2024

Applications received after the closing date will not be processed until after all on-time applications have been considered. Late applications will be considered from 30 April 2024 onwards. To make a late application, please see the County website:
