School Council

Our new School Council Team for 2025/26

We are committed to ensuring that all our children are active, responsible, and engaged members of our school community. To support this, our School Council represents the voice of every child and adult within the school.

This year, pupils who felt they had the qualities to be effective School Councillors were invited to submit an application. These applications were carefully reviewed by class teachers, and representatives from each class were selected based on the strength of their submissions.

KS2: Seth Swadling, Tilly Marx-Hughes, Lily-rose Heald, Leo Otter, Toby Small, Jacob Campos, Lucas Coppins, Zoe Morey

KS1: Billy Gair, Edith Young

Our School Councillors take an active leadership role by writing meeting agendas and leading discussions.

We place great importance on pupil voice. Through the School Council, children are given meaningful opportunities to evaluate our school and curriculum, recognising what works well and suggesting areas for improvement. They also play a key role in reviewing our pupil safety questionnaire and identifying priorities for development across the school.
