As it was Mental Health Day the School Council decided that as a school we would raise money for the Young Minds Charity by;

1. Coming to school dressed in yellow.
2. Each class to sell something yellow at the end of the day. Willow chose to sell Hedgehog bread, Maple and Oak cakes decorated yellow and Beech Crispy cakes in yellow cake cases.

This was to raise awareness of how important good mental health is for children and to keep talking about any worries or issues they might have. We also completed some “mindfulness” activities such as Cosmic Yoga throughout the week. Thank you to everyone for their efforts on the day, especially the School Council who ran the stalls at the end of the day.
