Phonics Workshop Presentation November 2020

Autumn 2 Topic Overview ~ Winter Wonderland

         UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE...

Wow, we are coming to end of our first half term in Willow class and what a journey we have begun. We are so proud of how well all the children have settled in and adjusting to new routines, new teachers and new friends.

We are coming to the end of Phase 2 phonics and the children have been learning individual sounds, letter recognition and learning to blend and segment for reading - they are all doing very well!

So far we have learned:  s, a, t, p, I, n, m, d, g, o, c, k, ck, e, u, r

and by the end of this week we will conclude with: h, b, f/ff, l/ll, ss

I will be setting half term learning on Tapestry.

Stay safe and have an enjoyable half term break!

Wow, What a first week at school we have had. Thank you all for making the transition to big school such a happy one for all the children. We are looking forward to beginning this week by extending our day to include lunch - Yummy! Please ensure your child is clear abut their lunch choice before they come into school in the mornings. On Thursday and Friday we will spend our first two full days in school and we can not wait!
