Willow Class Village visit to small holding
Willow class had a lovely morning feeding pigs and donkeys in the village.
The rain stopped so Willow class got into waterproofs and wellies and set off to see the animals. They saw the rescued the chickens/battery hens who are still missing some of their feathers but they are now being looked after and are happy in their new home! The pigs were called Wilfred and Walter and are brothers. The children shared some bananas and pears with them which they loved. Their field is very muddy at the moment because of all the rain we have had but they don't mind too much. The donkeys are mother and son and called Rosanna and Ned and they enjoyed some carrots.
