Well what a busy first week full of learning. We have been finding out when the Ancient Greeks lived and developing our historian skill of chronology. In Science we have started to discuss light and the difference between natural and man made. In English we have started two new learning journeys, firstly our writing journey, we have started to explore Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo and empathise with the main character. We have also started our journey in our reading journals by looking at ' A boy called Hope' and have discovered quite a lot just from the first page. In Maths we have been discussing and learning the importance of place value and Mrs Bulpitt left no one at the bus stop all week! Today in Art with Mrs Venn we learnt about the importance of colour, see photos attached.
